Paul Augustine Suhr is the elder son of late Chongju So, greatest Korean poet of the twentieth century. Paul Suhr was also a writer in Korean and English languages. He earned his BA, MS, MA and JD degrees in Campbell University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and at Greensboro, and NC Central University. His main goal in life has been to serve others, especially those who are in need, those who are under-represented or unrepresented.
Paul Suhr has been an outstanding community and bar leader-chairing Raleigh Human Relations Advisory Commission, and founding and running the "Lunch with a Lawyer," an award-winning public service program of Wake County Bar Association, for fourteen years. He appeared in such high-profile cases as *Statev. France, In the Matter of Erica Cruz-Romero, Estate of Chang v. City of Durham, Estate of Lee .... * He has received awards and recognitions from local and state bars, the City of Raleigh and President of Korea for his service to the community. Attorney Suhr has a BV rating, the maximum accorded to a lawyer after his admission to bar for five to nine years. His name also appears in *Who's Who in the World.*
Paul Suhr has been a fierce and tireless advocate of immigrants, aliens and other unrepresented and under-represented clients in courts. He believes and lives in the self-evident truths "that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."
